The 90's boyband, The Backstreet Boys recently seperated from long-time record label Jive Records. Band member Brian Littrell says this is the best thing to happen at the best time. The Backstreet Boys signed with the label in March of 1994, then went over seas to release their first album before comming back to the States and reaching their fame here in 1997. They went on to sell over 130 million albums world wide, making them the most successful boyband ever.
Personally, being the biggest Backstreet Fan ever, I say this is great. Yes, Jive helped the boys have their sucess, and fame, butt since the Black and Blue album (they took time off when member A.J. McLean went into a rehabilitaion center) Jive hasn't done ANYTHING for the band. I wish Backstreet the best of luck, and i cant wait for the This Is Us tour to hit Connecticut.
